The Irish Exit is founded on two key principles.
Firstly, we want to further the representation of contemporary Irish culture in America. Irish people are amongst the most transient nations in the world - we like an adventure, and you’ll find Irish communities in almost every corner of the globe, And the Irish pub is one of Ireland’s greatest exports.
But too often, you’ll find inauthentic phaddywhackery, outdated tropes, and subpar experiences masquerading as tradition.
Through The Dead Rabbit and The Irish Exit, we champion the modern Irish maker and the Ireland of today - the brewers, distillers, artists and musicians. Some people say pubs shouldn’t play music. But we do. And others say pubs are for drinking and not for eating. But we serve food all day, every day.
We’ll always honor the heritage of our predecessors and preserve the tradition of Irish hospitality, but our eye is firmly on the future - progression through partnerships, evolution through collaboration, and showcasing contemporary Ireland on a global stage.
